Motorcycle breakdown cover
All GEM's personal policies include motorcycle breakdown cover at no extra cost. You're covered for both breakdown and accident. We assist with motorcycles of any engine size and any age.
We understand that as a motorbike driver, you may need to make good use of our Home Assistance service. There's no penalty for that. If you call for roadside assistance our operator will send out a specialised recovery vehicle, which can carry your motorbike safely.
You might be reassured to know that all our policies also include Accident Management. This isn't a substitute for vehicle insurance, but a specialist service. Our Accident Management helpline offers advice at the scene and streamlines any future claims: whether the accident is your fault or someone else's.
Just to say thank you for the prompt, efficient and seamless service I have received from you. Returning to a deserted, remote car park at a snow-bound UK airport after a week in sunny Spain to find that my car wouldn't start was a bit of a blow to say the least but thanks to you I was on the road well within the hour. So very well done; first class service and should I ever have to call on you again – and no offence but I sincerely hope I don't, at least I will know I am in safe hands. Thank you.
