The independent Auto Express Driver Power Survey 2011 again voted GEM Motoring Assist No 1 UK provider of breakdown cover. In the four categories judged:

GEM Motoring Assist was awarded Best Buy status by the UK's leading consumer organisation Which? in its annual survey of breakdown services.

The results of its survey rates the quality of breakdown services using criteria such as the time it takes to reach broken down vehicles and the call centre's politeness when handling calls from stranded drivers.
