Terms & Conditions for Good Motoring magazine competitions

1) Competitions are open to current members of GEM Motoring Assist. We will only accept one entry per member by email or post.

2) Where specifically stated, competitions may also be open to non-members of GEM Motoring Assist.

3) Email entries, email: competition@motoringassist.com following the instructions detailed in Good Motoring magazine. We will only accept one email per member and it must contain the answer, member’s name and membership number. For Joint or Family memberships a separate email will be required for each member.

4) Postal entries, send them to: (Competition name), Editor, Good Motoring Magazine, GEM Motoring Assist, Station Road, Forest Row, East Sussex RH18 5EN. It must contain the answer, member’s name and membership number. For Joint or Family memberships send a separate entry for each member.

5) Regrettably, Good Motoring magazine cannot return any items or correspondence sent by post.

6) The following groups are excluded from entry to any Good Motoring competition: employees of GEM Motoring Assist, Call Assist and their immediate family members, contractors of GEM Motoring Assist and their family members.

7) All entrants must be over 18 years of age.

8) By entering any competition in Good Motoring, you agree for your name, town and county to be published in a future edition of the magazine, should you be selected as a competition winner.

9) By entering any competition in Good Motoring, you agree for your contact details to be passed on to the competition prize provider.

10) Your details will not be passed on to any other non-related third parties.

11) An employee of GEM Motoring Assist will draw the winner following the closing date for entries, which is specified in Good Motoring magazine.

12) A list of the correct entries will be randomised, and a number will be randomly generated to select the winner from this list. This person will be deemed the winner of the prize draw and contacted by GEM.

13) Any data submitted as part of your entry will be kept by GEM for a period of up to 6 months.

14) It is the joint decision of the editor and prize provider to specify a latest date by which a prize must be redeemed. Should the winner of the competition not redeem the prize before the agreed date, then he/she will forfeit the prize and will have no future claim to redeem any part of it. The editor will be entitled to choose another winner by the same mechanism.

15) In all cases, the editor’s decision is final.

16) There will be no cash alternative to any prize.

17) In the event of additional items specified (for example, travel expenses or spending money), these are not prizes in their own right and will only be provided as part of the full prize.

18) Good Motoring magazine and GEM Motoring Assist reserve the right to amend or cancel any competition or prize, at any time, for whatever reason.

19) Good Motoring magazine reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value in the event of a prize being unavailable. 20) For further enquiries, email editor@motoringassist.com.
